Title: Fixed Wing Pilot
Work site: Med Flight Air Ambulance, Inc., 2505 Clark Carr Loop, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87106
Duties:
A Fixed Wing Pilot (FWP) for Med Flight Air Ambulance, Inc. (MFAA) is responsible for the piloting of aircraft to provide safe and quality air transportation of critically ill patients under many varied conditions without direct supervision, collaborating with the other FCM’s and other staff, and using his/her pilot skills and the MFAA and Federal Aviation Administration’s written procedures/protocols when necessary. The FWP is expected to assist with company business, the education of personnel, public relations functions, and special projects as assigned by the DO, CP, DOM, PD, FC, SS or other management personnel. The FWP has the final authority for the safe conduct of any flight.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, FAA Pilot License LR-JET Type; ATP Pilot License or eligibility for immediate upgrade to ATP license; First-Class Medical Certificate and 1200 hours of flight time as a pilot (SIC or PIC) with a minimum of 500 of those hours in an LR-JET. Full time.
