This level of intensive care is staffed by two or more Air Medical Specialist, and functions as an airborne Mobile Intensive Care Unit. This service level would address those patients requiring some degree of life support (ventilator, pacemaker, etc) or multiple intravenous medications and monitoring. This transport may be scheduled on a commercial airline (intercontinental trips only), or in a Med Flight Air Ambulance aircraft.
