Air Medical Specialist

The medical flight crews are highly trained and experienced professionals who perform all medical monitoring and interventions while the patient is in our care. Depending on the condition of the patient, the Air Medical Specialist may be a Critical Care Nurse, Critical Care Paramedic, or Physician. All Med Flight transports have two Air Medical Specialists in attendance.

Support Specialists

These crew members are additional medical professionals (perfusionist, nurse practitioner, etc.) added to our regular team when a special need exists. Each is selected to meet the patient’s specific care and treatment needs. Support Specialists receive training in patient care and safety within the aircraft environment. They fly in addition to our Air Medical Specialists to augment our team’s capabilities.
