Med Flight Air Ambulance is the preferred ambulance provider service for many insurance companies and HMOs. In addition to our multiple accreditations and licenses, Med Flight is directed by Board Certified, Emergency Physician Medical Directors, staffed with Air Medical Specialists trained in flight physiology and aircraft safety, & flown by high-time ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) licensed Pilots with special training in Lifeguard (air ambulance) operations.

Med Flight has a history of skilled medical transport service since 1979. Known for being the first fully dedicated air ambulance service in New Mexico, we have been in continuous operation since inception.

Our Mission

The mission of Med Flight Air Ambulance is to provide quality air medical transport locally and to the bordering statewide communities, nationally to the Continental United States, and internationally to all locations, except those prohibited by the US department of State.

Clients will be given the highest quality, most expedient, & most cost effective air transport, at the time of any real or perceived emergency, by: Registered Nurses, Nationally Registered Paramedics, Registered Respiratory Therapists or Physicians who are trained in Flight Physiology, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support & Neonatal Resuscitation.
